What does Luke 15:10 mean?

When someone turns away from destructive patterns and turns back toward God, something extraordinary happens in the spiritual realm. Jesus is telling us that the angels themselves rejoice at this moment, and more than that, God's own presence is filled with joy. This isn't a distant, impersonal celebration, but a deeply personal happiness in heaven when a person decides to change course. If you're struggling with shame about your past or wondering whether your step toward healing matters, know that it matters so much that it moves the heart of God and causes rejoicing in the presence of his angels.
