Luke 12:2
“But there is nothing covered up, that will not be revealed, nor hidden, that will not be known.”
What does Luke 12:2 mean?
Jesus is reminding us that secrets don't stay secret forever. Everything that's hidden, whether it's something we've done or something done to us, will eventually come to light. In the context of Luke's Gospel, he's encouraging his followers not to live in fear or pretense, but to live with integrity because the truth always emerges eventually. This can be both comforting and challenging depending on where you are. If you're carrying shame or hiding something, it speaks to the reality that you don't have to bear that alone indefinitely.
