Luke 10:22

Turning to the disciples, he said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”

What does Luke 10:22 mean?

Jesus is describing an intimate relationship with God that's beyond human understanding on our own. He's saying that God has entrusted everything to him, and that knowing God truly requires Jesus to make that introduction, so to speak. The point isn't that God is hidden or distant, but rather that understanding who God really is, and who Jesus really is, comes through a personal connection Jesus offers to us. It's an invitation: Jesus wants to show you who the Father is, and that revelation is available to anyone willing to receive it.
