Judges 6:21
“Then Yahweh’s angel stretched out the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the meat and the unleavened cakes; and fire went up out of the rock, and consumed the meat and the unleavened cakes. Then Yahweh’s angel departed out of his sight.”
What does Judges 6:21 mean?
Gideon had just prepared an offering for what he thought might be a divine visitor, and this moment confirms it. The angel touches the food with his staff, and supernatural fire immediately consumes it, a sign of God's presence and acceptance. This wasn't magic or coincidence, but God's unmistakable way of saying "I see you, I'm here, and I'm with you."
