What does Joshua 4:21 mean?
Joshua is setting up a powerful moment of faith being passed down through generations. The Israelites have just crossed the Jordan River miraculously, and they've placed twelve memorial stones as a reminder of God's faithfulness. Joshua is instructing the people to be ready with an answer when their descendants ask about these stones, because he knows that children will naturally wonder about such an unusual monument.
