What does Joshua 4:20 mean?
Joshua placed those twelve stones the people had carried from the riverbed as a permanent marker in Gilgal, the first camp after crossing. Each stone represented one of Israel's twelve tribes, creating a physical monument that could be seen and touched for generations to come.
