Joshua 23:3
“You have seen all that Yahweh your God has done to all these nations because of you; for it is Yahweh your God who has fought for you.”
What does Joshua 23:3 mean?
Joshua is reminding the Israelites that they haven't won their battles through their own strength or strategy, but because God has actively fought on their behalf. He's asking them to look back at the evidence, the nations they've conquered and the obstacles overcome, and recognize God's hand in all of it. This matters because it's meant to deepen their trust and loyalty as they move forward into a new season. When we're tempted to take credit for our victories or assume we're making it on our own, this verse gently redirects us to see God's faithfulness working behind the scenes of our lives.
