What does Joshua 22:7 mean?
Joshua is wrapping up the conquest of Canaan, and it's time for the soldiers to finally go home to their families. The half-tribe of Manasseh had already received land east of the Jordan (in Bashan), while the other half was given territory west of the Jordan among the other tribes. After years of fighting together for their people's survival, Joshua sends these warriors back with a blessing, honoring both their sacrifice and the bonds they'd formed.
