What does Joshua 2:23 mean?
These two spies have just completed a dangerous mission inside Jericho's walls, hidden by Rahab who risked everything to help them. Now they're bringing their report back to Joshua, and the simple act of returning safely carries weight—they made it through enemy territory and lived to tell what they learned. What they discovered, and what they'll tell Joshua next, will shape how Israel approaches the coming battle. There's something reassuring in how straightforward this sentence is: they came back, they told what happened. Sometimes faithfulness means doing the hard thing and then faithfully reporting what you've found, trusting that the person leading you will know what to do with the truth.
