What does Joshua 19:7 mean?

This verse is part of a detailed list of towns assigned to the tribe of Simeon within the larger territory of Judah. These four cities, Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, were small settlements with their surrounding agricultural land, given to Simeon as their inheritance in the promised land. While the names might seem like just geographical information, they represent something meaningful: God keeping His promise to distribute the land among His people, with each tribe receiving a specific portion. Even in what looks like an ancient real estate deed, there's the reassurance that God was faithful in providing a home and livelihood for His people.
