What does John 9:36 mean?
A man who was born blind has just been healed by Jesus and is encountering him for the first time since receiving his sight. When Jesus asks if he believes in the Son of Man, the healed man realizes he's standing before someone extraordinary but doesn't yet know who Jesus truly is. His question shows genuine openness: he's ready to believe, he just needs to know who he's believing in. There's something beautiful about his directness here.
