John 9:25

He therefore answered, “I don’t know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”

What does John 9:25 mean?

A man who was born blind has just been healed by Jesus, and now the religious leaders are pressuring him to say Jesus is a sinner. He refuses to get caught up in their theological argument, stepping back from what he doesn't know to anchor himself firmly in what he does: his own transformation. His sight wasn't theoretical or secondhand—it happened to his own eyes. There's something beautifully stubborn and honest here. When we're uncertain about big spiritual questions or caught in someone else's debate, we don't have to pretend certainty. But we can speak to what we've actually experienced in our own lives. Whether that's healing, peace, changed relationships, or finding strength we didn't know we had, our personal encounter with God's work is real and worth testifying to, even when we can't explain everything else perfectly.
