What does John 8:7 mean?
Jesus responds to a trap set by religious leaders who've brought an accused woman to him, demanding he endorse her execution. Instead of taking sides in their scheme, he turns the moment inward, inviting each person to examine their own heart before casting judgment on another. His words don't excuse wrongdoing, but they reveal something harder to face than condemning someone else: the recognition of our own failures and need for grace.
