What does John 6:52 mean?
The people listening to Jesus were genuinely confused and disturbed by what he'd just said, thinking he meant eating his actual body like cannibalism. They couldn't grasp that he was speaking spiritually about receiving his life and sacrifice, not literally consuming flesh.
