John 5:22
“For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,”
What does John 5:22 mean?
This verse tells us something surprising: God the Father has stepped back from being our judge and handed that responsibility entirely to Jesus. It doesn't mean judgment disappears, but rather that Christ himself—who lived among us, experienced our struggles, and knows human life from the inside—is the one who will ultimately evaluate how we've lived. This is meant to be comforting rather than frightening, because it means we're judged by someone who understands what it means to be human and who died out of love for us.
