What does John 4:15 mean?
The Samaritan woman at the well has just heard Jesus speak of "living water" that quenches spiritual thirst forever. She's still thinking in practical terms, imagining water that would save her the daily labor of coming to this well, but her words point to a deeper hunger she doesn't yet recognize. Jesus has been gently inviting her to something beyond physical comfort, and she's beginning to sense there's more to his offer than she understands. Her response shows the beautiful way people often move toward faith, reaching out for help even when they don't fully grasp what they're reaching toward.
