What does John 12:45 mean?
Jesus is saying that when people look at who he is and what he does, they're actually seeing God the Father reflected in him. This wasn't a claim about physical appearance, but about character and purpose: his compassion, his justice, his love, and the way he reveals God's heart to the world. For his followers, this means you don't need to wonder what God is really like or whether he cares about your struggles, because Jesus showed us. The invisible God became visible in a person we could see, touch, and learn from.
