What does John 1:10 mean?
This verse captures the heartbreak of Jesus coming into the world he created, only to be rejected by the very people he came to save. The prologue of John is presenting Jesus as the divine Word, the eternal power through whom everything was made, yet when this same Person walked among humanity in flesh and blood, most people couldn't see or wouldn't accept who he really was. It's a poignant contrast: the Creator was present, but the creation looked right past him. This sets up one of John's central themes, that recognizing Jesus requires a kind of spiritual sight that goes beyond what our eyes alone can see.
