Job 6:3

What does Job 6:3 mean?
Job is describing grief so crushing that if you tried to weigh it on a scale, it would outweigh all the sand on every beach in the world. He's acknowledging that in his pain and desperation, he's said things without thinking them through, and he's asking his friends (and God) to understand that his harsh words come from a place of unbearable suffering, not from a stable mind. When we're drowning in anguish, our words often spill out carelessly, and Job is being honest about that reality. There's something both humble and human in admitting that our pain has made us say things we might not have said otherwise.
