What does Job 37:1 mean?

Elihu, who has been speaking throughout these chapters, is describing the overwhelming awe he feels when contemplating God's power revealed in storms and nature. His heart physically trembles, his whole being shaken by the weight of recognizing something far greater than himself. This isn't fear in the sense of terror, but rather that deep, reverent response that comes when we brush up against something truly magnificent and beyond our control. In hard seasons especially, there can be something steadying about letting ourselves feel small before God's vastness, releasing the exhausting burden of trying to figure everything out on our own.
