“Who doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respects the rich more than the poor; for they all are the work of his hands.”
What does Job 34:19 mean?
God sees everyone with the same fundamental worth, regardless of power or wealth. A prince and a pauper, a billionaire and someone struggling paycheck to paycheck, all came from the same Creator's hands. This is Elihu speaking to Job about God's perfect justice, reminding him that human status and titles don't change how God values or judges us. It's a deeply comforting truth when the world feels rigged toward the powerful, or when you feel invisible or unimportant because of your circumstances.
