What does Job 28:22 mean?
In this verse, Job personifies two forces that feel like enemies to anyone suffering: Destruction and Death themselves. Even these mighty, terrifying powers have only *heard rumors* about wisdom—they don't truly possess it or understand it. Job is saying that wisdom is so rare and hidden that even the things we fear most cannot grasp it fully.
