What does Job 28:13 mean?
Job is wrestling with one of life's deepest questions: where can we find true wisdom? He acknowledges that while humans are clever enough to mine gold and precious gems from the earth, wisdom itself cannot be bought or found through any earthly effort. It's not something that appears on a marketplace shelf or that someone living can simply stumble upon and claim as their own. This doesn't mean wisdom is entirely beyond reach, but rather that it operates on a different plane than material goods.
