What does Job 22:20 mean?
Eliphaz is reminding Job that wrongdoers eventually face destruction, suggesting this should comfort him. His point is that the wicked don't win in the end, so Job shouldn't envy or fear them, and shouldn't assume his suffering means God has abandoned him. While Eliphaz means well, he's actually being insensitive here, assuming Job must have done something wrong to deserve his troubles.
