What does Job 13:21 mean?
Job has been suffering terribly and feels God's presence as overwhelming pressure rather than comfort. He's asking God to step back, to ease off the intensity of whatever divine weight he's experiencing so he can think and speak clearly. It's an honest, almost desperate plea from someone who loves God but is desperate for some breathing room to process his pain. What's powerful here is that Job doesn't abandon faith—he actually keeps arguing with God, keeps seeking Him even while asking Him to back away a little. He's saying, "I can't hear you or think straight when I'm this crushed."
