What does Jeremiah 8:19 mean?
The prophet Jeremiah hears the distant cry of his people in exile, calling out desperately from far away: "Where is God? Where is our king?" It's a heartbreaking moment of spiritual confusion, when people who've been taken from their homeland wonder if God has abandoned them.
