“Will you not from this time cry to me, ‘My Father, you are the guide of my youth?’”
What does Jeremiah 3:4 mean?
God is inviting the people of Judah to return to Him with the kind of honest, intimate cry they once knew, addressing Him as a father who guided them through their younger days. There's a gentle longing in this question, as if God is saying: "Don't you remember when you trusted me like that? Won't you call out to me again the way you used to?"
