What does Jeremiah 23:20 mean?
God's judgment isn't impulsive or temporary, but purposeful and complete. This verse tells us that God's anger stays active until His intentions are fully accomplished, not withdrawn halfway through. The prophet Jeremiah wrote this during a turbulent time when Jerusalem was in crisis, and he's assuring people that even though things look chaotic now, there's a coherent plan being worked out.
