James 2:19
“You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder.”
What does James 2:19 mean?
Belief in God's existence alone, James says, isn't enough to make your faith real or meaningful. Even demons acknowledge that God is real and powerful, yet that knowledge doesn't change them or save them. What matters is whether your belief actually transforms how you live, how you treat others, and how you respond to God's call on your life. True faith shows itself through action, through the way you treat people and live out what you claim to believe.
