Isaiah 7:17
“Yahweh will bring on you, on your people, and on your father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.”
What does Isaiah 7:17 mean?
King Ahaz of Judah had turned away from trusting God and made unwise political alliances instead. Through Isaiah, God is warning him that judgment is coming, not as punishment for a single moment but as the consequence of deeper spiritual unfaithfulness.
