Isaiah 57:15

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

What does Isaiah 57:15 mean?

God lives in a space beyond our understanding, yet chooses to live alongside anyone who comes to him with a broken and humble heart. This is extraordinary: the One who is infinitely above all things draws near to those who have nowhere else to turn, who recognize their own need and their smallness before him. He comes not to shame you for your brokenness, but to breathe new life into your worn-out spirit and restore what feels dead inside you. If you're carrying heaviness right now or feel like you've failed, this verse is saying that God's home is actually *with* people like you, not away from you.
