Isaiah 57:13
“When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you; but the wind will take them. a breath will carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.””
What does Isaiah 57:13 mean?
When life falls apart and you cry out for help, the things you've collected or the people you've relied on in place of God won't actually save you, any more than the wind can hold onto leaves. But if you turn to God as your refuge, you'll find something real and lasting, not something that scatters away when trouble comes.
