Isaiah 48:19
“Your offspring also would have been as the sand, and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.””
What does Isaiah 48:19 mean?
God is speaking to Israel about what could have been if they had truly listened to Him. He's saying their nation would have grown as vast and numerous as grains of sand, with their identity and legacy preserved forever in His sight. Instead, because of their disobedience and turning away, they experienced exile and loss, their numbers scattered rather than multiplied.
