What does Isaiah 46:8 mean?
Isaiah speaks here to people who've turned away from God, calling them to wake up and remember what they once knew. "Show yourselves men" means to act with courage and dignity, to step out of denial and face reality honestly. The prophet is asking them to recall God's faithfulness in their past, to stop running from the truth, and to reclaim their strength by turning back toward him.
