What does Isaiah 38:22 mean?
King Hezekiah has just been told by the prophet Isaiah that God will heal him from a deadly illness, but his mind immediately goes to the practical question: how will he know this promise is real? He's asking for proof, something concrete he can point to that confirms God's healing work in his life. This honest request for reassurance is something many of us can relate to.
