What does Isaiah 36:21 mean?
When the Assyrian messenger finished his taunting speech to Jerusalem's leaders, something remarkable happened: they said absolutely nothing back. King Hezekiah had specifically instructed them not to engage with the enemy's words, no matter how insulting or frightening they were. This silence was actually a sign of strength and faith, not weakness, because it meant they refused to let fear or anger control their response.
