Hebrews 10:6
“You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.”
What does Hebrews 10:6 mean?
God is reminding us through this verse that He was never interested in religious rituals for their own sake. The ancient Jewish system included countless animal sacrifices meant to atone for sin and show devotion, yet the author of Hebrews is quoting Scripture to say God's heart was always set on something deeper: genuine transformation and relationship with His people, not just the performance of religious acts.
