What does Haggai 1:7 mean?
God's call here is simply to stop and think honestly about the choices you're making and where your energy is going. The Haggai community had neglected rebuilding God's temple while focusing on their own comfort, and this invitation to reflection was meant to wake them up to what they were neglecting. It's not angry or condemning, just a gentle nudge: look at what you're actually prioritizing, and consider whether it lines up with what matters most. Sometimes we all need that moment of pause to notice where we've drifted.
