What does Genesis 43:30 mean?

Joseph had just seen his younger brother Benjamin for the first time in years, and the emotion overwhelmed him completely. His deep love for Benjamin, combined with the guilt and longing he'd been carrying since he was separated from his family, suddenly became too much to contain in public. He had to excuse himself and find privacy to let his tears flow. This moment shows us something deeply human: sometimes our feelings are so big and tender that we need space to process them fully. Joseph's tears weren't weakness, but rather the sign of a heart that truly loved and had truly suffered. For anyone who knows what it feels like to barely hold it together in front of others, his need to slip away and grieve alone makes perfect sense.
