What does Genesis 43:29 mean?
When Joseph finally sees Benjamin, his full brother and the one he's longed for, he can barely hold himself together. The mention that Benjamin is "his mother's son" matters because it means Benjamin shared both parents with Joseph, making him uniquely precious after their mother Rachel had died.
