What does Genesis 40:3 mean?
When Pharaoh's chief butler and baker upset the king, they were thrown into the same prison where Joseph was already being held. This detail might seem small, but it's the setup for everything that follows, Joseph gets the chance to interpret their dreams, which eventually leads Pharaoh to hear about him and dramatically changes his entire life. Sometimes our circumstances feel random or pointless, but looking back, we often see how one small placement led to something we couldn't have imagined. Joseph didn't know that sharing a prison cell would be the turning point of his story.
