What does Genesis 27:15 mean?
Rebekah is helping her younger son Jacob deceive his aging father Isaac into giving him the blessing meant for his older brother Esau. By dressing Jacob in Esau's clothes, she's hoping the disguise, combined with the goatskin she'll use to mimic Esau's hairy arms, will fool Isaac, whose eyesight has failed. This moment shows how far Rebekah is willing to go to fulfill what she believes God promised her years earlier, when she was told the older would serve the younger.
