What does Genesis 27:11 mean?

Jacob is expressing his anxiety about his mother's plan to deceive his father Isaac. He's pointing out the obvious problem: Esau is noticeably hairy, while he himself is smooth-skinned, so Isaac will immediately discover the trick when he touches him. Jacob isn't refusing to help with the deception, but rather he's worried about getting caught and facing his father's anger or curse. This moment shows us Jacob's concern about consequences even as he's willing to participate in wrongdoing, which captures something very human about how we rationalize our compromises.
