What does Genesis 26:15 mean?
When Isaac inherited his father Abraham's land, he also inherited the wells his family had carefully dug over the years, which were essential for survival in the desert. The Philistines, wanting to control the region and limit Isaac's resources, deliberately destroyed these wells by filling them with dirt. It's a picture of how others sometimes try to strip away what sustains us, whether through jealousy, competition, or simply wanting power over their neighbors.
