What does Genesis 24:50 mean?
When Abraham's servant arrives seeking a wife for Isaac, he asks Rebekah's family for her hand. Their response here shows them recognizing that this match is God's doing, not something they can simply reject or approve on their own terms. By saying they can't speak "bad or good," they mean they have no authority to forbid it or reshape it, because God has clearly orchestrated it.
