What does Genesis 24:42 mean?

Abraham's servant is praying at a well, asking God to confirm he's found the right bride for Isaac. He's nervous about this enormous responsibility and wants reassurance before moving forward. This simple prayer captures something we all do: we ask God to show us we're on the right track before we commit to a big decision. The servant isn't demanding or presuming anything. He's acknowledging that he doesn't have all the answers and asking God to guide him through a clear sign. It's a vulnerable moment of "I need your help to know if I'm doing the right thing," which is exactly the kind of honest conversation God welcomes.
