Genesis 19:15

When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “Get up! Take your wife, and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”

What does Genesis 19:15 mean?

The angels in Sodom are giving Lot an urgent command: leave immediately, because judgment is coming to destroy the city. Lot is being offered a way out, but only if he acts quickly and doesn't look back or hesitate. This moment captures both God's patience (allowing Lot time to escape) and the seriousness of sin's consequences (the city cannot continue as it is). For anyone feeling stuck in a harmful situation or sensing a nudge to change direction, this passage reminds us that God sometimes offers us a clear exit, even if it means leaving behind everything familiar.
