What does Genesis 11:7 mean?
The Lord is speaking here after witnessing humanity's pride at Babel, where people united in their ambition to build a tower reaching toward heaven. Rather than allowing this unified rebellion to continue unchecked, God introduces a barrier that will scatter them: the confusion of languages.
