What does Ezra 8:32 mean?

After a long and dangerous journey across the desert, Ezra and the returning Jewish exiles finally reached their destination and took time to rest. Those three days of stillness weren't just physical recovery, though that mattered after weeks of travel, but also a breathing space to process the enormity of what they were doing: rebuilding their community and temple in a homeland many had never seen. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do after a significant change or accomplishment is simply to pause, settle in, and let reality catch up with us.
