What does Ezekiel 6:10 mean?
God is making a promise here, though it sounds harsh at first. He's saying that when judgment comes on His people for turning away from Him, it won't be empty words or an empty threat, but something that actually happens. The consequences are real because His character is real. For people living far from God or in rebellion, this can feel terrifying, but there's something steady underneath it: God keeps His word.
